The importance of vessel integrity inspections on vessels like commercial oil coolers is critical for safety. Vessel inspections has shown that being aware of the internal condition allows for planning maintenance.
Preventative maintenance to this type of vessel can be carried out in many cases saving expensive future repairs, replacements & down time.
The cost of loss production, possible environment damage & injury to workers is an incentive to have a regular inspection of all commercial oil heaters & similar vessels.

Just a few minutes a day can prevent loss time and accidents from occurring in the light industrial workshops with a few simple checks of your air compressor
Visually check drive belts for signs of wear, check the compressor sight glass has oil , check hose connection from compressor to make sure they are in good order, check that all safety guarding is secure. These can all be carried out before compressor is switched on, but most importantly check and drain compressor air receiver on a daily basis.
Drain the air receiver, water separator & pressure tank of water that builds up with everyday operation. Keeping the system as dry as possible will avoid costly replacement and risk of injury due to corrosion.
These few step will save down time and maintain a safe work environment in your workshop.

A dive decompression chamber is the piece of equipment that is used for scuba (underwater) divers when they get the decompression sickness commonly known as the bends.
Decompression sickness (DCS; also known as divers’ disease, the bends or caisson disease) describes a condition arising from dissolved gases coming out of solution into bubbles inside the body on depressurisation. DCS may be experienced in other depressurisation events such as caisson working, flying in unpressurised aircraft & activity from spacecraft.
Dive decompression chambers require regular inspections. So that the operators and occupants that are treated in the vessel can work in a safe working condition.
